They also offer a diverse menu of American and Asian fare, draft beers, wines, and spirits in the Zone 8 Sports Bar and Grill.

Howell Electric was selected to provide pre-construction services, design engineering, fire alarm systems, voice evacuation systems, and smoke control system for Casino M8trix’s new high-rise facility.

This facility features a 40,000 sq ft main casino floor with 28’ open ceilings, 8,200 sq ft high limit card room, three restaurants, 5,500 sq ft Zone 8 sports bar, 25,000 sq ft back-of-house support areas including large server room, state-of-the-art central security control room, conference rooms, office areas, secure bank and chip cages, 122 flat screen TV’s throughout, 8-story 40,00 sq ft high-rise tower with six high limit card suites, karaoke rooms, large meeting/conference area, and executive offices.

The fire alarm system included a full fire alarm detection system and voice notification with integrated fire-fighters smoke control. Design, engineering, installation, commissioning and final inspection was testing performed in-house. The system installed was an Edwards Vigilant VM-1.
